Paul Horrocks Editor of the MEN since June 1997. He is also the Editor in Chief of Manchester Metro News. He joined the MEN in 1975 as a general news reporter and in 1984 was appointed crime correspondent covering the Stalker Affair and the re-opening of the Moors Murders case. In September 1989 he was appointed news editor and ran the investigation into the financial mismanagement at the Co-op. In July 1994 he was promoted to assistant editor and in March 1996 deputy editor. He was a member of the Organising Committee for the Commonwealth Games Manchester 2002. He is vice president of the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester, patron of Francis House Children\'s Hospice and member of the Manchester Enterprises Partners\' Council. A member of the board of the SoE. He is married with three children (two now grown up). Leisure interests are golf, sailing and rugby union.
